If you like to plan, have a knack for organization, or frequently find yourself doodling or drawing diagrams, then Scott’s landscaping design might be your career calling. Scott’s will use your creativity that can thrive in a landscape design career, where organization and design skills are used to create exterior spaces using plant materials and hardscape elements.
Scott’s landscape designers work closely with clients to develop a design plan specific to that person’s wants and needs. Once specific landscape elements are selected, drawing up a plan using Pro Landscaping program will then show each client a 3-D image of their plan.
-Prepare project estimates
-Design projects using Pro Landscape Image Editor
-Work with installation crews to achieve total customer satisfaction
-Meet with clients at their properties and manage client accounts
In process or accomplished an Associate degree in landscape design or Horticulture. Internships – Use our internship program to learn how to deal with customers and lead to full time design positions.

Scott’s Garden Center focuses on the sale of plants and horticultural products to the general public. We offer opportunities for employees to put their creative talents to the test by designing merchandise displays, selecting items (including plants, flowers, and lawn decorations) for the store to stock and sell, or helping customers design their gardens.
-Greet visitors and customers
-Provide customer service
-Make sales transactions
-Assist in maintenance of department, including watering, pruning and fertilization
-Daily to-do list too keep the garden center shoppable and clean each day
-In process of or completed Associate Degree in Horticulture
-Basic Plant Knowledge
-Training provided by employer, but experience is helpful
